Common arrival mistakes

Filling the arrival card too early

It is intended for close to arrival. Too early and it may be rejected at check-in or on arrival.

No offline copies of QR codes

Airport Wi-Fi can be slow. Screenshot every QR and document before you board.

Skipping the customs declaration

The e-CD is expected for international arrivals, even if you have nothing to declare.

Forgetting the Bali Tourist Levy

It is separate from your visa. Pay the Rp150,000 levy and keep the QR for spot checks.

Exceeding duty-free without declaring

Over the alcohol, tobacco, or goods value limit? Declare it to avoid penalties.

Not noting your last day of stay

Your entry stamp sets your deadline. Track it from day one to avoid an overstay.

Official arrival links

Only fill these on official government sites. Many lookalike sites charge fees for free forms. Check the URL before entering personal details or making payments.
